Adare Bypass – River Maigue Bridge Lift
A significant milestone has been achieved on the Adare Bypass Project, with the successful installation of three pairs of bridge girders over the River Maigue.
Working as part of the Sisk x Sorensen JV team, the first girder, measuring 92 metres in length and weighing over 400 tonnes, was lifted into position during a carefully planned operation.
This achievement reflects the dedication, expertise, and collaboration of everyone involved, not least the SSJV site team.
We would like to thank our client, Limerick City and County Council, along with our supply chain partners, for their support and commitment in delivering this key stage of the project.
We look forward to the remaining girder installations over the coming weeks as progress continues on this landmark infrastructure development.
