General Description
This project involved the installation of 2No. pump stations 9M deep adjacent to the River Shannon using sheet-piled cofferdams and segmented concrete caissons. The project also involved the construction of 225mm – 525mm pre-cast concrete foul and surface water sewers, rising mains and water mains. The works were carried out in an urban sensitive environment in the centre of a busy tourist town.
