Our Contracts Manager Brian Snow spoke with Neil Prendeville about the flash flooding in Glanmire last week. As the Cois Na Gleann culvert under the main Glanmire road reached its capacity and began to flood the road, our experienced site team in collaboration with Cork City Council – Comhairle Cathrach Chorcaí began to dam off the road and divert the flood waters, saving numerous local homes and businesses from millions of euros of property damage. We’d like to acknowledge all the good wishes that we’ve received from the local community who were extremely grateful for the efforts put in during the floods by the Sorensen team. Most importantly, a big thank you to our site team for their quick thinking and hard work!
