	Eoghan Duggan is commencing the 2nd year of his Civil Engineering Apprenticeship at Atlantic Technological University Campus in Galway City. In Year 2 Eoghan will build on foundational skills from Year 1 with more specialised Civil Engineering topics, more theory and design, while continuing work-based learning.
Ryan McCarthy has commenced 1st year of his Civil Engineering Apprenticeship at Munster Technological University Campus in Cork. Ryan will be introduced to basic theory, tools, and skills that he’ll need in later years.
We wish both students the very best on their apprenticeship journey with Sorensen.

 
	Sorensen is delighted to have been awarded the Park Road Killarney Active Travel Project (Section A), which we will deliver on behalf of our client, Kerry County Council.
The Scheme includes for the provision of 2 new signalised crossing points on Park Road as well as the upgrade of an existing crossing on East Avenue and a further upgrade of an existing signalised crossing on Park Road.
The works generally comprise of the construction of shared surfaces, cycleways, kerbing, signage, road-markings, drainage, utilities, retaining wall structures and associated ancillary works.
We look forward to working with Kerry County Council, Clandillon Civil Consulting Ltd. and all of the Stakeholders on this project.
