Sorensen is delighted to announce that we have been appointed by Cork City Council – Comhairle Cathrach Chorcaí to deliver Contract 3 of the Glanmire Roads Improvement Scheme.

This project will significantly enhance the greenway route, delivering safer, more accessible facilities for cyclists and pedestrians.

🏗️𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞:
• The provision of a new urban greenway through John O’Callaghan Park
• Two new bridge crossings
• A shared-use path along Eastcliff Road
• Upgrades to existing paths
• Drainage and utility works
• New pavements, kerbs, tactile paving, and street furniture
• Landscaping & environmental works

We look forward to working closely with Cork City Council, their representatives AECOM, and all project stakeholders as we deliver this exciting piece of active travel infrastructure.
