Irish Water has recently signed a contract worth approximately €18.5M with a joint venture partnership comprising of two Cork based companies; Sorensen Civil Engineering and EPS, to deliver the Waterford grouped towns and villages sewerage scheme. The contract includes the design and construction of seven new wastewater treatment works and outfall pipelines to serve the following towns and villages within county Waterford; Ardmore, Ballyduff, Kilmeadan, Cappoquin, Dunmore East, Kilmacthomas, Stradbally and Tallow. This project is being procured by Irish Water under a 20 year design, build, operate form of contract. Construction works are expected to take 24 months approximately.
